The latest drive technology ensures that the Taycan’s performance can be reproduced repeatedly. Two permanent-magnet synchronous motors with up to 761PS overboost with Launch Control, catapult the Taycan Turbo S from 0-62mph in just 2.8 seconds.
Our charging concept starts with the vehicle. The Porsche Taycan is the first production vehicle with 800-volt technology. Higher voltage means not only noticeably more power and less weight, as it saves approximately four kilograms in weight in comparison to the more conventional 400-volt technology, but above all shorter charging times because higher power outputs can be achieved.

Porsche Recuperation Management (PRM) works innovatively and can regenerate up to 90% of braking energy. This means when the driver presses on the brake pedal, recuperation is enabled first and the mechanical brake is only engaged when stronger braking is required. With an outstanding recuperation output of up to 265kW, the kinetic energy can be converted back into electrical energy which is routed back into the battery.

. From 01 January 2019, all fuel consumption figures are shown as determined in accordance with WLTP. CO₂ figures will be shown as NEDC-equivalent values, as CO₂ based taxation will continue to be based on an NEDC value (derived from WLTP) until 06 April 2020. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
